Pretty iPhone Cases from VelvetCaviar.com

So if you can recall, I was looking for a phone case for my new iPhone5c. Well, I ended up purchasing a White Chanel Lego bag-inspired case from Velvet Caviar. They had a 20% discount promotion at the time, so it was the best deal out of all the other retailers. 

Isn't it dreamy?! I love how crisp the white is. I had a hard time debating between the other colors it came in (black, light pink, yellow, and hot pink), but I was super thrilled with the white. It's especially pretty because the case has a glossy finish. An additional nice feature about this case is the removable chain.

The sad part of the story is that it doesn't fit my iPhone5c because it really is meant for a 5s.

So, I contacted Velvet Caviar, and they so kindly shipped me this Navy Chanel Le Boy bag-inspired case. It's super cute! And the chain is so practical for this mommy of 2! (Although, hubby thinks it's quite annoying when I wear it around the house. That could actually be another plus lolz).

The minor disappointment about the Le Boy case is that you cannot remove this chain. 

I was impressed with Velvet Caviar shipping speed when I received my package within a week from ordering. Their customer service was also a delight to work with when my case didn't fit my phone.

RECOMMENDED: e.l.f. Lip Balm SPF15 'Nude'

I have so many posts to do, but everything is on hold because Operation MiniMac failed when I realized the batteries in my old Mac keyboard corroded. ::sigh:: Thus, I am stuck blogging from my iPhone. It's super limiting, but I can do some basics, and I just have to let you know about my new found fave. I went to Target to look for the e.l.f. Cosmetics lip scrub, but they didn't have it. 

On a whim, I ended up buying this Lip Balm in Nude. The SPF15 caught my eye. I've tried other tinted lip balms like Maybelline's Baby Lips and Burt's Bees, but I find those formulas aren't  moist enough for my lips, and the colors always seem to fall into the lines on my lips and accentuate some of the cracking.

I've been loving this e.l.f. one though because it is sheer enough to not draw attention to the dry skin on my lips, but pigmented enough to give your lips a little pop. It's super hydrating so I can use it instead of my Aquaphor, when my lips just need a little moisture. The light mint scent is refreshing, too!

I'm definitely gonna pick up the Peach next!

My MacBookPro is in Critical Condition

Hi all! 

My blogging has been on a hiatus because my computer is out of commission. I've been keeping up with Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter on my iPhone, but I prefer to blog on a computer where I can write longer, post more pictures, and play with layouts.
